Ops metrics schema and executive overview
InsightsCall latency, ad spend, and campaign ROAS now have dedicated schema columns (migration 0031), and a new executive ops-overview page rolls up all four ops surfaces onto one screen for platform admins.
-
Workflow registry and system catalog
PlatformEvery workflow (scheduled jobs, dormant crons, webhooks, durable objects, operator-run actions) is now inventoried in a single registry, alongside a catalog of docs, MCP tools, and API routes. Operators get a visual admin view of the whole system.
-
Citation and backlink foundation
PlatformA content and citation pipeline is in place to build domain authority for Magic Receptionist across vertical-specific directories and buyer guides. This is infrastructure only — no outbound outreach has run yet.
-
Cost, credit, and wallet ledger
BillingA unified ledger tracks provider cost (voice, telephony, AI), customer credits, and wallet balance per tenant. Operators can see true unit cost against revenue — no more guessing at margin.

Ops insights suite for operators
InsightsFour new read-only surfaces give operators a real-time read on the platform: caller intelligence (who's calling and why), call quality and speed KPIs, leads-to-conversions funnel, and per-tenant unit economics and margin.
-
Stripe customer portal for self-serve billing
BillingPlan management, invoices, and payment-method updates now happen inside Stripe's hosted customer portal. Customers manage their own billing without exposing card data to us.
-
SMS follow-up channel
Voice AIAfter a handled or missed call, the receptionist can send a context-aware SMS — a confirmation, a callback link, or next steps — to keep the conversation moving without requiring the caller to call back.
-
Partner and reseller program
PlatformAgencies and multi-location operators can now resell Magic Receptionist at wholesale per-location pricing. Partners get a dashboard with margin controls and per-tenant billing visibility.

-
Known-caller memory and lead routing
InsightsRepeat callers are now recognized by number. The receptionist greets them by name when possible and routes hot leads to the right person based on the call's detected intent.
-
Vertical-aware intake flows
Voice AIGreeting and intake scripts are now pre-tuned for auto body, dental, HVAC, medical, medspa, plumbing, real estate, roofing, and salon. Each vertical gets its own call-handling logic so the receptionist asks the right follow-up questions.

Magic Receptionist launches Managed Launch plan
BillingThe first paid plan is live: a real phone number, a custom greeting tuned to your vertical, and 500 included minutes per month. Onboarding is human-mediated — we set up the number, forwarding, and greeting with you, not through an unattended checkout.
About this changelog
Dates are deploy dates, not announcement dates. We don't future-date entries — if it's here, it's live. Internal tracking refs (where shown) are for operators and don't link to anything customer-facing.
